Anaconda tours (PERU)

The amazon basin is famous with it’s pink dolphins

Travelling through the River Amazon, one of the two larges rivers on Earth, we were very eager to meet the Anaconda, a snake found in shallow waters in the Amazon basin. But this snake is the world’s largest species of snake whose size reach up to 100 feet long. Yet some of the native peoples of the South American jungle have reported seeing anacondas up to 50 feet long.

We were told by the fishermen, that the anaconda, which spends most of its time in water with just its nostrils above the surface hiding itself from the prey, ocassionally attacks human beings . But we were also told that to see one in its natural environment would be quite difficult due to the fact that the Anaconda was a shy, unsociable, solitary animal.

However, determined to socialize with an Anaconda, we decided to take one in our hands and wrap it around us! BUT... while doing this we had not noticed another danger besides the Anaconda; there was another dangerous snake wrapped around the anaconda which was wrapped on us. On top of all this, we discovered that the Anaconda was not only a killer that could even swallow up a human being, but that it was also a thief that would not let go of our bag!!!

Anyway, the trip through the Amazon River gave us a chance to be friendly with the Anaconda and to see other very interesting animals particular only to the Amazon.

The prehistoric turtle was one of them and we assure you that it was definetely sweeter than Mr. Anaconda.
