Visit the snake restaurant in Vietnam where all food is made of snake meat or venom?!......
Have You Tried the Snake? Dont be surprised if you ever hear a Vietnamese say “ Our specialty tonight is the cobra” (which is the most expensive in the snake menu in snake restaurants in Vietnam)
Anyway, you may consider the idea of eating snake as “Yuck! Or No Way!” or maybe unethical even, but for the Vietnamese, contrary to the westerners, the snake is considered a male aphrodisiac, a kind of Yucky viagra.
You will find the best snake restaurants (which are numerous by the way) in Hanoi.
We visited a special snake restaurant in the west of Hanoi, whose owner not only cooked them, but also bred them too in this shaggy but curious snake-house. We were also told that our snake-man had been bitten by one and as a result had had a partial paralysis caused by the venom.
So what do you have in your snake- menu?... what dont you have is better said: fried snake skin, grilled snake, snake spring rolls, snake soup, minced snake dumpling..... and what does snake taste like? Snake tastes like chicken....
